At Creative Outlet, our competitive program is built on passion, teamwork, dedication, and positive studio culture. We offer three distinct team tracks designed to fit different age groups, experience levels, and family commitments!

Our Competitive Teams

1. COCo. Competition Team (Full Season)

Our flagship competitive team for dancers looking for an immersive, high-energy competition experience.

  • Age Range: Ages 6+ (Petite, Junior, Teen)

  • Season: Full Year (Summer/Fall through Spring)

  • Auditions: Annual Auditions held every July! (Invitations and evaluations are also conducted by faculty during regular season technique classes).

  • Commitment: Attends 4 local/regional dance competitions plus 1 Nationals event, community events, and charity performances throughout the season.

2. COCo. Lite (Half-Season Team)

Perfect for dancers who want the excitement of competition dance with a lighter time and financial commitment, or for families looking to test the waters before joining the full team!

  • Season: Starts in January

  • Competitions: 1–2 local competitions

  • Who It’s For: Great for dancers transitioning from recreational classes to competitive dance, or multi-sport athletes looking for a flexible schedule.

3. Mini Competition Team

Designed specifically to introduce our youngest dancers to the magic of the stage and build foundational performance skills in a fun, supportive environment.

  • Ages: 4 – 6 years old

  • Competitions: 3 local competitions per season

  • Focus: Developing rhythm, stage presence, confidence, and team camaraderie.

How Selection & Joining Works

While official auditions for our full COCo. team take place in July, we continuously evaluate current COPAC students based on skill level, enthusiasm, teamwork, attendance, and attitude.

  • New to COPAC? Start by joining our regular weekly technique classes so our instructors can evaluate your dancer!

  • Interested in COCo. Lite or Mini Comp? Inquire early to reserve your spot for the upcoming season.

Ready to Take the Next Step?
